Me Me Khant is an exiled poet and advocate from Burma. She is the executive director and co-founder of Students for Free Burma, an advocacy group informing Burma-related legislations and policies for the U.S. Congress. Me Me is a class member in a class-action lawsuit led by the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund challenging the Trump administration’s termination of Temporary Protected Status for Burma. She holds a Master’s in International Policy from Stanford University, where she was a Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
